We are very pleased to announce Jessica Jennings, Research Scientist from Bakelite Synthetics, as the new Chair of the IAB Technical Committee starting August 1st, 2023.
We are grateful to Patrick Farrell, Technical Director from Freres Engineered Wood for leading the IAB Technical Committee for the last two years dedicating time and energy to the success of our Research Program.

When the WBC was created in 1999, a website was created to address the communications needs of the new center. The amazing work of managing director Linda Caudill at the time led to the creation of a state-of-the-art and innovative website that addressed the needs of industry members, faculty, and students. Linda created an incredible database that is now a most valuable repository of research information since 1999. Hence a most important institutional memory is created recording our history for the last 25 years.
In 2022 a decision was made to renew and update the website. This endeavor is led by the current managing director Dr. Patricia Vega, adapting to new software, digital platforms, and social media, we aim to constantly improve the interaction with our community.
